You misunderstood my point, I never say that my MBP will stay up to date till 5 years, but believe me, by that time only the softwares will be a pressure to run on my MBP like what happen to my 5 years old Dell, only now it has difficulties running Photoshop CS3.

The screen is also much brighter and is expected to have a much longer lifespan without becoming dull or dying.
